With many couples choosing to get married abroad, re-creating a ceremony that includes those important moments so they can be shared with family and friends who couldn't be there.

Weddings

Getting married is a sacred ceremony and rite of passage. Times have changed at long last to include all genders, sexuality and cultures and everyone seeks a ceremony that reflects who they are.
I truly believe you deserve something more than the standard wording offered by registrars or religious officials.
Thankfully celebrant led ceremonies have never imposed such limiting boundaries with wording.
Here at 'The DreamCatcher' it is my job as Celebrant to create a unique, special ceremony that reflects your love for each other, wrapped in all your hopes and dreams for your future together in one magical ceremony. Based on your wants & needs I will write your ceremony, taking into account everyone you want to be involved, your surroundings and anything else that is important to you. This is your special day and together we can make it both memorable and magical.

Prices for Wedding ceremonies within the local borders of Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey are: £450

(This includes a unique ceremony written and delivered by me on your special day & guiding you through the ceremony itself a few days beforehand.)

Sacred Ceremonies

In 1994 The laws in the United Kingdom changed, allowing other licensed venues other than registry offices to be used for civil marriage ceremonies, more recently many of these venues have subsequently been licensed for registrars to also perform the legalities of a Civil Partnership agreement. However the content of the ceremony remains pretty much unchanged, and this type of Marriage or Civil Partnership Service can often be uninspiring and lack the personalisation, creativity and spiritual connection that many couples rightly feel their relationship deserves.
What is not so commonly known or understood in this country - is that ONLY the *Declaratory Words, and the **Contracting words have to be said in a Registry Office or licenced venue, in order for your marriage to be recognised in law and for a marriage certificate to be issued.

*Declaratory Words
"I do solemnly declare that I know not of any lawful impediment why I (your name) may not be joined in matrimony to (partner's name)"
**Contracting Words
"I call up these persons here present to witness that I (your name) do take thee (partners name) to be my lawful wedded wife (or husband)" (this wording will vary slightly for couples forming a Civil Partnership)

These words are the only legal requirements for marriage, as well as formally identifying yourselves to the registrar and signing the marriage/civil partnership register in front of two independent witnesses and a registrar.

The rest of the service including the exchanging of rings and saying of vows is purely ceremonial. As such your ceremony can literally include anything your imagination inspires and be anywhere your heart desires.

What separates me from other celebrants is that I specialise in Spiritual & Shamanic ceremonies rather than the traditional style. I work with creating and holding the energies needed to create a sacred ceremony for those people who walk a spiritual path.

IMPORTANT: I AM A CELEBRANT NOT A REGISTRAR . For your marriage to be recognised in law, you will need to complete the legal formalities at a registry office. This is normally done earlier on the same day or  1 or 2 days before.
